Traveling to the Dolomites soon? ✨

Here’s one hike we absolutely loved. Even though it was super cloudy that day, it didn’t take away from the magic—we’re already planning to come back!

The Adolf Munkel Trail in Funes Valley (Val di Funes) is such a gem—and for a good reason. We started at the Dolomites UNESCO info point Zans and followed a gravel path that winds through peaceful forests and stunning alpine meadows, all with the majestic Geisler (Odle) peaks standing tall above.

The trail takes you to the cutest mountain huts—Gschnagenhardt Alm and Geisleralm—where you can treat yourself to tasty local food (hello, alpine cheese boards and hot drinks!). And at Geislerkino, an outdoor scenic viewpoint, you’ll find cozy seats to relax and take in those epic mountain views. Sadly, it was too cloudy for us to see much, but that’s all the more reason to come back!

Whether you’re a seasoned hiker or just here for the vibes, this trail truly has something for everyone. Gorgeous landscapes, local food, and pure serenity—what more could you ask for?
